Vydavateľstvo Dobrá kniha is a christian publishing house aiming to support spiritual growth and development of its readers. Established in 1970, it has brought Slovaks hundreds of books and magazines into seemingly every country in the world. 
Vydavateľstvo Dobrá kniha was founded in 1970 in Cambridge, Canada. Slovak jesuit fathers forced to leave their country under socialist political regime established the publishing house to publish christian books for Slovakia and Slovaks abroad. After the change of the political regime in 1989, Vydavateľstvo Dobrá kniha was moved to Trnava, Slovakia.
From that time Vydavateľstvo Dobrá kniha published more than 250 books. It continued publishing christian magazines Posol and Viera a život. Currently Vydavateľstvo Dobrá kniha sells books in its own stores and through the local distribution chain. All books are accessible through internet orders using this website, telephone, e-mail or mail orders.
